Welcome

Central England Lau Gar Kung Fu schools were opened to the public for the first time in 1979. The senior instructor both then and now is Sifu Alan Neeld.

Alan has been training under the tutelage of Master Yau since 1974 and is now recognised as one of the British Kung Fu Association's most senior instructors.

The ethos of our clubs is 'martial arts for all' and to that end we would like to invite you to come along and join with us on a journey, that will both enhance your mind and improve your body, whilst at the same time open doors to a world of intrigue, dynamism and fortitude.

Introduction
Central England Lau Gar is a group of clubs centred around Birmingham, in the UK. All of our clubs are open to everyone regardless of race, sex or age. As Senior Instructor and Lau Gar Guardian I would like to invite you to come along to one of our clubs, mention this site and try a free introductory class.

All of my instructors are fully qualified and experienced in teaching all aspects of Lau Gar Kung Fu and are there to help you, achieve your goals.

THE THORNY ROSE

'Why should a peaceful nation have military forces and arms?

Why should a polite police officer carry a pistol?

Why should a friendly neighbor study the martial arts?

And even more...

Why should a priest learn Kung Fu?'

'THE THORN DEFENDS THE ROSE AND HARMS ONLY THOSE WHO WOULD STEAL THE BLOSSOM.'
